FAQs
What should I expect when purchasing rough gemstones?
We do our best to evaluate gems and their color/clarity quality. Natural stones often exhibit various inclusions that are hard to capture via photo or video. Stones will often arrive and feel smaller than their photos (of course), and may have natural flaws that are hard to display. In the event you're not satisfied with your rough, please head to our Refund and Return Policy page, located here.
Can your team curate me a package or chat with me about a potential purchase?
Yes, please reach out to us via the contact form and we'll get back to you ASAP.
How can I determine the cleanliness of a rough stone?
The cleanliness of a rough stone refers to the presence of internal damage or inclusions. High-quality rough gemstones typically have fewer inclusions and less visible internal damage. When purchasing, look for descriptions that specify the clarity and any notable inclusions, as these factors significantly affect the stone's overall value and appearance.
We do our best to denote any inclusions, however, we are human and may miss some. If you have a question about a stone, or would like a more in-depth look, send us a message with the stone's type and weight, and we will provide a customized evaluation. If you have not cut your stone, we always will accept stones back that don't meet your requirements.
